It is extremely hot today and because of that I kept not only my OOTD low maintenance but my make up, too. Some shorts (that I haven’t been able to wear PP (Post Pregnancy)), a light tee and some comfortable … Continue reading

Today’s OOTD has nothing spectacular – so I think. And yet, I really love the way the cargo shorts and the print shirt work together with the bright blue heels. Most of all though, I like the way this outfit … Continue reading

For today’s OOTD take one pair of pants you thought you’d never wear again (remember what I always say: don’t through anything away unless it’s totally kaputt and/or shrunken to your teenage clothes size), one short sleeve men’s shirt, a … Continue reading

Beauty without cruelty #01

CIMG2285

Well, I haven’t really been big about this, but since I have this blog I decided to start sharing my latest personal aim with you. It’s always been on my mind, but only recently have I been more serious about putting it into practice. And do you know what? It is a lot easier than you think….  You may wonder, what the hell am I talking about…? Well, I am talking about changing my cosmetic routine and usage to focus more on products that have NOT been tested on animals. As simple as that! Maybe it’s because I’m a mom and I want to be a role model for my child in treating living beings with respect, maybe it’s me getting older and trying to focus on quality rather than quantity. I can’t actually give a reason for my mind shift other than that I’m serious about it. Yes, serious, but not fanatic. I will try my upmost to investigate, buy and use products than have been certified to be free of animal testing, but – if I cannot find an equivalent product with the same quality I might actually stick to the one I have. This is more about creating awareness, making the effort of research and give those ‘beauty without cruelty’ products the preference but not the sole mandate. In this section of my blog I want to share my journey with you, show what I am using, what is new, what works but also be honest about those things that can’t be replaced. Follow me, like, share and feedback and let’s see how far we can get on the ‘beauty without cruelty’ journey!

The Waistcoat

With my passion for classic clothing it was a no brainer that at some stage I needed to get a classic (what else…?!??!) waistcoat. Now, let me tell you: that ain’t easy to find because classic does not mean available … Continue reading

Fabulous Friday #04

cimg2066

So, here we go again. Another week has passed, another week to look forward to.

Here you go with my personal outlook on my week ahead.

My inspiration I follow many overseas blogs and with that I’m getting a lot of feedback from the fashion weeks in Berlin, Paris etc…. Keeping up to date is a daily inspiration to me.

My wish I’ve had the pleasure of going there for the last few years and with that met some amazing people. I’m hoping to get a ticket for this year’s J&B Met, too.

My aim My wardrobe has asked me for some help in gaining new structure. How can I deny her that…? And with that I am hoping to discover new dimensions…. J

To do Lots. Where shall I start? Clara’s Concept has many ideas that are waiting to be put into place. I also want to send out ‘happy new year’ wishes to all my friends – before the new year is too old.

What I love My german shepherd girl has passed her narcotic sniffer dog exam with flying colours. I am soo proud of her!

Thoughts My little 9 month old has started crawling. It is my greatest joy to see him explore a whole new world to him. Yet, I always wonder how far can I let him go before he hurts or gets himself into danger. Am I overprotective or too easy-going ….?

What I look forward to A surprise party for my best friend and date-night with my husband.
